"THE CHOICE", Nueva película para Tom Welling

"THE CHOICE"

Los rumores llegan después de que salieran a la luz unas fotos sobre Tom en el aeropuerto de LAX ayer y que una persona que iba en el mismo vuelo que el actor lo apuntara y ahora Deadline lo ha confirmado.

Tom Welling ha conseguido un papel protagonista en "The Choice", la adaptación dirigida por Ross Katz de la novela de Nicholas Sparks del mismo título con guión de Bryan Sipe para Lionsgate.

Benjamin Walker interpreta a 'Travis Parker' y Teresa Palmer interpreta a 'Gabby Holland'. Vecinos en un pequeño pueblo costero, terminan persiguiendo una relación que ninguno esperaba. Welling interpreta el papel de 'Ryan', un médico en la consulta de su padre (Brett Rice) que es el novio de Gabby cuando ella se muda a Beaufort y cuya dedicación hacia ella complica sus sentimientso hacia Travis. El triángulo se desarrolla a lo largo de una década en Carolina del Norte.

Sparks y Theresa Park se unen a Peter Safran para producir y financiar la película, la primera película independiente de Nicholas Sparks Productions. Jason Constantine, presidente de asquisiciones y co-producciones de Lionsgate y Eda Kowan, vice presidenta ejecutiva de adquisiciones y producciones supervisarán el proyecto para el estudio. Good Universe se ha hecho cargo de las ventas internacionales para la película.

La producción comienza este lunes 13 de Octubre en Wilmington, y se alargará durante un mes. Se espera que la película se estrene el 05 de Febrero del 2016.

El estreno en UK será el 04 de Marzo del 2016.

WME representa a la antigua estrella de Smallville, quien ha sido visto más recientemente con Kevin Costner en la película "Draft Day".
