Hace siglos desde que la WB y DC anunciaron que Dwayne Johnson sería el villano de Shazam 'Black Adam' en su propia película en solitario. Aunque no ha habido ningún movimiento sobre el proyecto desde entonces, finalmente parece que los productores han dado una idea de cuándo quieren empezar a rodar.

Mientras que hablaban con Variety para promocionar su próxima película "Fighting with My Family", representantes de la compañía de producción de Dwayne Johnson y Dany Garcia 'Seven Bucks Productions' han afirmado que esperan conseguir que "Black Adam" despegue en el 2020:

“También estamos impulsando un par de grandes proyectos como el de “Black Adam” y nuestro objetivo es conseguir que comience en los alto del 2020. El guión está saliendo bien y estamos en la fase de pulido ahora y estamos buscando el encontrar al director adecuado para ella.
