- La CW renueva 7 de sus series, entre las que están "The Flash" y "Superman And Lois":

La CW ha anunciado las renovaciones tempranas de una gran parte de su calendario de series.

Así, se han confirmado las renovaciones de "All American", "The Flash", "Kung Fu", "Nancy Drew", "Riverdale", "Superman & Lois" y "Walker".

Tradicionalmente, la cadena siempre ha anunciado la mayoría de las renovaciones tempranas, a veces incluso en Enero.

No obstante, este año, el futuro de la cadena está en el aire con el acercamiento del grupo local afiliado Nexstar, por lo que se entiende que a la mayoría de los nuevos dueños les gusta tener algo que decir en algunas de las decisiones de sus renovaciones. La cadena también necesita tener en cuenta elementos tales como los derechos de streaming y otras variables que determinarán la renovación.


"The Flash" regresará oficialmente por tanto con su novena temporada — convirtiéndose en la serie del Arrowverse más longeva de la cadena, tomando el testigo de "Arrow", que terninó tras su octava temporada — noticia que vino precedida a principios de año con el anuncio de que Grant Gustin estaba en negociaciones con la cadena para firmar un nuevo acuerdo. Aunque no se ha dicho si la S9 será la última temporada de "The Flash", sí que se dijo que sería una temporada más costa de lo habitual.

Por su parte, "Superman & Lois" regresará oficialmente con su tercera temporada, noticia que no es de extrañar teniendo en cuenta el éxito de crítica y de audiencia que está teniendo la serie desde su inicio.


No obstante, la cadena aún tiene que decidir sobre la renovación de otras series, entre las que están las series de DC "Legends Of Tomorrow", "Batwoman", "Naomi" y "Stargirl", y que seguramente tomarán el próximo mes o así, antes de las Upfronts de Mayo.


De renovarse, eso marcaría el regreso para su S8 de "Legends Of Tomorrow", de "Batwoman" para su S4 y la S2 de "Naomi".

La S3 de "Stargirl" aún tiene que estrenarse, por lo que se entiende el retraso en la decisión sobre si regresará para su S4.
