"The Penguin" terminó su corta temporada en noviembre sin planes para una segunda temporada. La showrunner Lauren LeFranc le dijo a Deadline que “en este momento no estamos hablando realmente de una segunda temporada. Y más allá de eso, no hay nada que pueda decir que sugiera de alguna manera que hay un futuro o no”.
