iZombie se une así a las anteriores series renovadas por la CW: Arrow, The Flash, Jane The Virgin, Reign, Supernatural, The 100, The Vampire Diaries y The Originals.
Rahul Kohli, uno de sus protagonistas, ha querido dejarle un mensaje a los fans con motivo de la renovación:

IZOMBIE Scoop: Entrevista con Bradley James
Por Tiffany Vogt 11 Mayo, 2015
With the reveal that Lowell (Bradley James) has been getting his steady supply of brains from Blaine (David Anders), and Liv’s (Rose McIver) vow to take Blaine down for killing street kids to provide a steady supply of brains for his customers, Lowell looks to be in a tricky spot between his girlfriend and his brains-supplier. So does love rule out or will the Lowell side with Blaine out of sheer preservation?
In an exclusive interview, star Bradley James teasingly talked about Lowell falling for Liv and did his best to dodge all the spoilerish questions about whether Lowell’s days are numbered in the showdown between Liv and Blaine.
As of last week’s episode, Liv finally discovered that Lowell has been getting his brain supply from Blaine. Is Lowell going to be onboard with Liv wanting to take down Blaine, or does that create a conflict for Lowell?
BRADLEY: [Laughs] Now you realize that is essentially talking about the future and all the things we haven’t seen yet. You have to try, but I am not the man to be spoiling anything.
Is Lowell going to be rooting for Liv in her quest or is he going to be saying, “Hey, don’t go there?”
BRADLEY: [Laughs] Come on, I wasn’t born yesterday! Nice try.
Do you think Lowell at this point is falling for Liv? Or is he merely happy to have someone that he can relate to and to have around to hang out with?
BRADLEY: I think you could argue that most relationships tend to start with trying to figure out if you like a person and you go from there. I’d say that part of that development that you go through in relationships, and I think that is maybe where Liv and Lowell are at the moment. It’s where you figure out stuff about a person and how much you enjoy spending time with them.
To hear Lowell describe it, he kind of fell in love at first sight. Do you think that is true or do you think he was just enamored with Liv, initially?
BRADLEY: I think there are probably a few factors: (1) while Liv is very pale, she is still not difficult to look at, (2) she’s a zombie, and (3) she’s a lot of fun. So I think there is no reason for why he shouldn’t take a liking to her. I guess there is no kind of rule book on the futures of a zombie relationship, but there seem to be many reasons for him to fall for her.
What do you like about their relationship? What for you has been fun about it?
BRADLEY: I like the fact that they both play when they get together — even when they first spoke. It was a bit tentative at first on Liv’s side because she thought Lowell might be a murderer, but once she figured out he wasn’t, there has been a lot of playfulness.
If you were putting odds on them making it as a couple, should fans be betting for them to have the romance of the century coming up?
BRADLEY: I think everyone is aware that there is also a “Major” question-mark in the background, and his name is in fact Major (Robert Buckley). So I would say that is something that will eventually be addressed because we get the feeling that Major is endgame. That’s how the show starts its premise and so I think there is probably a large portion of the fans who are rooting for the poor guy. He’s getting beaten up a lot and it seems he’s taken a lot of facial injuries. I think his fan base will slowly build and kind of root for him a bit.
For you, what do you like about Lowell? What do you most admire about him?
BRADLEY: The playfulness. He’s quite a cheeky chappie. He’s relatively light-hearted right now about the whole zombie experience — seemingly. I like it. It’s fun to play. There’s a kind of teasing aspect to this guy who comes into Liv’s life. Just character-wise, I like getting to play around with him.
If you got to sit down with Lowell and talk with him, what would you like to ask him if you had a chance?
BRADLEY: What would I ask Lowell? What a strange circumstance you have created there. Sitting down with a man, what would we talk about? Well, I’d probably say, “Alright mate, want to go down to the pub and hang out for a bit? Do you like football?” Yeah, I’d probably ask him about football and the game. That would probably be the extent of the conversation with Lowell.
Do you think you guys would hit it off or would you think, “he’s just too different from me”?
BRADLEY: Is he too different from me? He’s into his music and my relationships with other males tend to circulate around sports and I’m not sure how into sports Lowell is. Well, he jumps out of planes and that’s an extreme sport. I think we could bond over something like that, actually.
We also know that Ravi (Rahul Kohli) is also trying to do experiments on Lowell to see if there is a cure possibly for zombie-ism. But now Ravi might be infected. Is Lowell going to have some tips for Ravi, even though we haven’t seen if Ravi has been infected yet or not?
BRADLEY: I feel like they have bonded in that little scene with the rats and all that. I think Lowell wouldn’t turn Ravi away if he needs some advice and Lowell would have another zombie friend. I don’t think there are too many zombies out there — or very many levelheaded zombies anyway. They all seem to be a little bit rage-y, apart from Lowell and Liv. Zombies tend to get a little bit murderous.
What has been the funnest part of working on IZOMBIE?
BRADLEY: The cast. The cast is a wonderful bunch — in terms of both on and off set — I’ve had a lot of fun with them. I did the majority of my work with Rose, and off-set I was able to hangout with Rahul, Rob and Malcolm. I just had a great time. It was a thrilling experience while I was up there [filming in Vancouver]. Time seemed to fly by because I was having so much fun. I’d say that is probably something that comes across on screen because of the cast — that’s who they are — they are having so much fun.
Did you ever have a hard time eating the fake brains?
BRADLEY: Do I ever eat any brains? I haven’t actually had to eat brains yet. No, that hasn’t come my way. I haven’t shot any scenes where I’ve had that conundrum. That’s a question for Rose. She eats them all the time.
If you would like to share any teasers about what is upcoming in this next episode “Patriot Brains,” would would you like to share?
BRADLEY: I actually wouldn’t like to. I would absolutely hate to. It would be against the actor’s creed to give anything away about future episodes. [Laughs] Actually has to do with ignorance. I don’t know what happens. I haven’t seen the episode yet. But why I would encourage fans to tune in is to see what a great job the gang has been doing so far. It has been a pleasure working with them.
Maybe you could just share one more thing: will we get to see Lowell in full-on zombie-mode again?
BRADLEY: [Laughs] See, I feel what you’re doing here. Here’s what I’ll tell you: keep tuning in. I guarantee since the show is doing very well and has been picked up for a second series — I cannot say I am surprised as the work that has been done by the main cast is terrific — that I think it will continue to draw in an audience and, hopefully, it will grow.
To find out where Lowell’s loyalty truly lies and if there is a chance for true love between Lowell and Liv, be sure to tune in for the finale three episodes of IZOMBIE airing Tuesday nights at 9:00 p.m. on the CW. (The Season 1 finale of IZOMBIE airs May 26th and will return for Season 2 in Fall 2015.)

Bradley James sobre Liv & Lowell siguiendo la revelación del servicio de entregas de Blaine
Por Jolie Lash 11 Mayo, 2015 03:59 PM EDT
They may have met under less than ideal circumstances, but things have really been working out for Liv and Lowell on "iZombie."
Last week though, just as it seemed that Liv (Rose McIver) was throwing herself into having fun with her cute British zombie beau (Bradley James), an unsettling feeling (and vision) set in. While taking the elevator in Lowell's building, Liv spotted Blaine DeBeers (David Anders) strolling up carrying orange food coolers, and it prompted a vision hinting at the murderous side of Blaine's new brain food delivery service.
How will that effect the Liv/Lowell zombie romance? During a break from filming A&E's upcoming drama "Damien" (about the a grown up Damien from "The Omen"), Bradley told Access Hollywood what's to come on his CW series.
AccessHollywood.com: At the end of last week's episode, Blaine appeared to be making a special delivery to [Lowell's] apartment, which begs the question, where is your character getting his food from?
Bradley James: It does beg the question and perhaps, you know, I think essentially the answer's right there -- your man, your delivery service, Mr. DeBeers, who's turning up, dropping off a few special packages. Yeah, I guess that's the first sign of it. There's not been too many questions of Lowell's eating habits, thankfully. He's been able to skirt that issue just by attempting to charm Liv and essentially kiss her as much as he can, so I think he's just – any time she's probably asked that question, he's just thrown his face at her.
Access: Should that really be the first question all zombies ask other potential dates – 'Where do you get your brains from?'
Bradley: I suppose it's depending upon the moral standards of said zombie. If you're going to be all high and mighty about it, then yeah, ask that question, whereas if you're a bit more relaxed as zombie culture goes, then you just let 'em get on with it and hope that you don't find out.
Access: Do you think Lowell is questioning where Blaine gets his supply from?
Bradley: That's a good question. … I would say there's an aspect to Lowell where perhaps he doesn't want to know.
Access: Obviously Liv was in the elevator and saw Blaine coming up with the orange cooler bags. Is she going to confront him? What are we going to get to see with [them]?
Bradley: I'm not sure I can answer that because that's essentially telling you what happens in the next episode, but you know, obviously it's going to provide some level of confrontation because it's not – Liv comes from a very privileged place, really, if you think about it. It's so easy when you work in a morgue and you have delivered brains, but there are many folks out there who don't work in morgues as zombies, so I think there's probably a deeper question to be asked about, you know, it's all right being judgmental, but we don't all have lives [suited] for that lifestyle. So, throw that little thing in the mix for you to have a little think about.
Access: Is there any chance we're going to get to see you go full zombie? Did you want to go full zombie on this show and have one of those freak out zombie sequences?
Bradley: [In the] very first episode , there was this ever such a tease about going to go into full zombie mode... I was talking to Rose and saying, 'What's your take on this? What's the physicality?' And I talked to her about it and then I sort of had a think about it myself and then we did a scene where I'm in the plane, and it's someone's flashback and I'm just about to sort of kick off and they go, 'Cut,' and I was like, 'Uh, hold on a minute, that wasn't even half zombie, let alone full zombie,' and so I was denied, but let's wait and see if that opportunity then arises later on, I would say.
Access: So you've gone from 'iZombie' to filming 'Damien.' How cool is that?
Bradley: Cool is a word you could use. I would say one of the things about acting that I love so much is the variety -- variety is the spice of life, as I bore people with that saying all the time. And yeah, going from the fun frolicking around of 'iZombie' to [the] more darker and serious nature of 'Damien' is part of that variety that my profession provides and I'm a very lucky boy right now 'cause as I say, [I'm in] Toronto having a whale of a time, much like I did on 'iZombie.' I had a fantastic time in Vancouver, shooting 'iZombie,' but for differing reasons, I'm having an equally as fantastic a time in Toronto at the moment filming 'Damien,' but very much different experiences.

Bradley James sobre el romance (¿maldito?) de Lowell y Liv (Doomed?) y el vínculo con Blaine
Por Vlada Gelman / 11 Mayo 2015, 3:14 PM PDT
If iZombie‘s cliffhanger ending last week left you worried about the state of Lowell and Liv’s relationship, you are perfectly justified in your concern.
After discovering that baddie Blaine is her beau’s brain dealer, this Tuesday’s episode (The CW, 9/8c) brings an even more disturbing revelation for Liv: “Lowell and Blaine are old friends,” actor Bradley James tells TVLine, so perhaps his girlfriend should have expected this twist. After all, “The zombie community, I don’t think it’s that large,” James adds.
Couple this latest plot development with the fact that James is a recurring guest star (and the foreboding preview below), and we have to wonder if Liv and Lowell’s undead romance is built to last. Or is it doomed to fail because of what they are?
“There’s a much grander question there about love in general, surely,” the actor replies. “But I suppose the zombie factor does increase that intensity. I would say that – unless you’re the writer of the show – there is no set path for love.”
What started out as something that James thought would be a one-episode gig got extended when producers saw the chemistry between the Merlin alum and star Rose McIver — not that the humble actor thinks he in any way contributed to that decision.
“Rather than that being a result of me having done anything good,” he says, “they probably had it in their minds that they were going to [keep] Lowell for much longer, unless I turned out to be absolutely terrible and then it would have just been one episode.” (No possible way. As executive producer Rob Thomas previously told TVLine, “We knew from the moment we saw Liv and Lowell on screen that Lowell wasn’t going away anytime soon.”)
Viewers have fallen for Lowell, too — possibly even more so than Liv’s ex-fiancé Major — as the heroine has found herself taken by the British rocker zombie. But James acknowledges, “Major’s endgame. I think everyone’s aware of that.”
“It would probably be a bit dull for Rob [Buckley] if he just found himself being the straightforward love interest in that way,” he continues. “He’s more talented than that, and that’s why they explore different avenues to his storyline, which I think will really have a payoff for the fans later on.”

Entrevista con Bradley James (Lowell)
Por Craig Byrne 12 Mayo, 2015
From the very first time we saw him on Merlin, Bradley James became a quick TV favorite in his role as the eventual King Arthur. Lately, we’ve enjoyed Bradley on The CW series iZombie, where he plays Liv’s zombie love interest, Lowell Tracey.
A new episode of iZombie featuring Mr. James is on The CW tonight at 9PM following The Flash, and to promote tonight’s show, we spoke with Bradley as he took a short interview break from his upcoming series Damien, based on the classic film The Omen.
Enjoy the interview!
KSITETV’s CRAIG BYRNE: Where there an extra stress to play a brand new character like Lowell from scratch, and not a character that’s well known, like King Arthur or Damien from The Omen?
BRADLEY JAMES: There was absolutely no stress whatsoever. I had an incredible time with the cast, the character was written down in such a way that I could have a lot of fun with it, and I totally enjoyed myself. The stress levels were non-existent throughout my entire time in Vancouver.
Well then, how much fun was it to create a new character like Lowell?
That’s the word. Fun. There was almost a lack of responsibility with the character, because it was one that you could just have fun playing as an actor. That’s always a nice little treat, to get those parts. And from the moment we meet Lowell, he just likes to mess around with people a little bit. He’s a lighthearted zombie, as it were. That’s what it absolutely was.
Did the producers ever explain to you where they came up with the name Lowell?
Some guy who they liked, he was named after. That was the gist of it. They’ve got a friend called something Lowell, and they named him after him.
How many episodes are you signed for?
That’s a wonderful question. It’s probably more of a question for Rob Thomas, but we will see what is coming for Lowell.
What is it like to work with Rose McIver as Liv?
Rose is terrific to work with. I don’t exaggerate. I think because of the nature of the two characters, you have to fall in love with someone, and Rose didn’t make that difficult in any stretch of the imagination, because she is wonderful and lovely. I had great fun working scenes with her. I seem to remember my first scene in the interrogation room, and straight away, there was a sort of back and forth, and she was just very generous with what she gave you. I think that’s a word I would use for her: There’s a generosity in the way that she works, and that’s an absolute pleasure to bounce off of.
How has doing iZombie in Vancouver been different from filming in a castle for Merlin?
[Laughs] How is it different? The main difference is that I’m not walking in chain mail. I mean, I had a fantastic time [on Merlin] – one of the best parts of my day, admittedly, was when I got to take the chain mail off because my body was sloped at the end of the day. On iZombie, Lowell was a fan of incredibly tight jeans which, I had to say, maybe not my favorite, but I would say those, off the top of my head, are the biggest differences.
Lowell is a musician – do you have any musical talents, yourself?
I have no musical talents, aside from the fact that I’m learning to play “Big Love” on the guitar, which I’m told is a stupid song to start off with learning. That’s the extent of my musical talent.
What kind of feedback have you gotten from iZombie fans?
We were filming in a Toronto tube station last night – it was probably about six in the morning, I think – but any time that we came up for air, there were some very lovely, very supportive people there, who had waited to take pictures and stuff, and they all seemed to be talking about iZombie. So, I think just by proxy of being part of a very good show, you find yourself being complimented [about] it. I think that’s a huge part of that, is the fact that there’s such a great cast, and they’re doing such a great job. What I’ve managed to see, I’ve been very impressed and very proud of these wonderful actors who are creating these lives. So I think by proxy, I’ve been on the receiving end of maybe their hard work, more than my own.
Why should your fans be tuning in to see iZombie if they haven’t already?
I can’t tell you that, but I can tell you why I have kept watching: There’s a wonderful job being done by the cast. I can’t really single their names out, because they all do a great job in their specific roles. That’s why I’ve been tuning in.
Do you have any final words for the people who are reading this?
Final words. To be continued!

David Anders sobre Blaine, Liv & comer cerebros falsos
Por Jolie Lash 12 Mayo, 2015 01:02 PM EDT
He may be part of the undead, but Blaine DeBeers is living life to the fullest on The CW's "iZombie."
"I think he's fully realizing his potential for awful, maybe," David Anders told Access Hollywood of his character, who turned the bad thing that happened to him (being turned into a zombie) into an opportunity to become a very powerful (but kind of charming) bad guy.
Since he realized zombie-ism comes with more than just pale skin tones and white hair, David's character Blaine has used his super strength to corner the market on brain dealing, even growing his own customer base by turning unsuspecting humans to the undead side. But, plucky Liv Moore (Rose McIver) is using her abilities for good, eating morgue brains to get those visions that allow her to solve murders. The two characters are clearly on a crash course, especially after Liv had a meal at boyfriend Lowell's (Bradley James) house that produced visions of Blaine's unsavory acts.
David spoke with Access Hollywood about whether Blaine is worried about Liv catching on to his evil scheme, playing the charming villain, and what those "iZombie" brain dishes really taste like.
AccessHollywood.com: How bad do you think Blaine actually was before he became a zombie?
David Anders: I don't think he was as bad as he is now that he's a zombie. He was just a rich kid, you know, getting by, dealing drugs. He wasn't doing any killing or anything like that, so then, he inherited these newfound powers and he reassess his goals in life (laughs) and he just wants to be king zombie of Seattle, and maybe the nation, who knows?
Access: Did you know he was going to take such a turn toward the dark side on the show when you were first filming it?
David: I had been privy to the direction that we were going from what Rob [Thomas, 'iZombie's executive producer] had told me and he said I had to take a leap of faith because I was barely in that pilot episode and he had to write extra scenes for me to audition with during the audition process. I didn't know how dark we could get. I knew we'd get fairly dark on the show, and what drew me to the part initially was the humor of it, so I'll go as far dark as you want me to go, but as long as there's an element of humor. I still think, even though Blaine can be quite nefarious, there's a bit of charm there.
Access: Definitely. Was there any human out there in life that you wanted to model at least the human part of him after, or his attitude after?
David: Well, the character breakdown said, 'He's like James Spader from 'Pretty In Pink,'' and I kind of thought he was more James Spader from 'Less Than Zero.' Hopefully we bring some element of Spader out there. That's what they wanted.
Access: It's funny because a lot of people have sort of hoped for a romance between your character and Liv. Why do you think that is? Do you think it's just the chemistry the two of you have on screen or they're in this together in many ways?
David: Well, yeah. I mean, that second episode when Blaine is wearing many different hats and we don't know who he really is until like the end of the episode, that was a cool dynamic and of course, Rose and I just love working together and I think there is a chemistry there, and from the fan reaction, I think they're pushing for that Spike and Buffy type love/hate thing. And who knows? Maybe in the future we'll explore that some. But I can't promise you anything in the first season.
Access: Right now it feels like they're starting [to figure out] Blaine's secret -- that he is involved in the murders [of young people] related to Liv's ex-fiance, Major. Is this bad news for Blaine?
David: It's funny because Blaine walks around like he's not worried about consequence at all (laughs). That's how it's written and there's no other way to really to play it because just walks around like he just can't be hurt and maybe that's true.
Access: Are we going to get to see flashbacks [with Blaine]?
David: I think that would be a fun thing to play with in the future. I can't promise you that's going to happen in this season, but [in an upcoming episode,] you learn some about him. He talks in reverie about his past a little bit.
Access: He just killed his, I don't know what you want to call her –
David: His cougar concubine.
Access: What is his moral code is at this point in time?
David: His morality compass is lacking and that's a fun thing to play with, is watching Rose come to terms with it, the day to day of this newfound zombie-ism and he is kind of relishing in it and having fun with it. … But yeah, as far as his moral code? I don't know. What's your ranking system (laughs).
Access: We have to talk about the food. Did you ever get sick off that gelatin substance [they use for the brains]?
David: Not sick, because it doesn't taste crazy bad. It's really the consistency that's awful, but yeah, there's the scene where I'm sampling the food and you're having to eat it over and over again. I grew a bit distended.
Access: That's not good
David: Yeah, it's not good, but we have the spit bucket on standby.
Access: [Blaine's establishment has gourmet brain dishes, but] did any of those dishes taste like, say, turkey jerky?
David: They could hide the brains in those dishes. There were some really good tasting dishes, actually that the prop department put together, whereas Rose has to deal with pouring the actual agar-agar [made fake] brains on ramen and hot sauce and having to eat that. I was eating well made dishes.

- Lowell habla sobre el estar muerto, enamorado y en problemas (CBR):
Lowell habla sobre el estar muerto, enamorado y en problemas
Por Bryan Cairns 12 Mayo, 2015
When Liv Moore (Rose McIver) was transformed into a zombie, the medical student believed it was a freak accident and she was the only one. As Liv adapted to her undead life, she learned that assumption was false. She's encountered the creepy Blaine (David Anders_ and most recently, smoldering musician Lowell, a zombie she's struck up a romance with. However, in the last episode, "Dead Air," Liv discovered that Blaine has been supplying her beau Lowell with his brain fix, a revelation that horrifies her.
Ahead of tonight's episode, Bradley James spoke with CBR News about Lowell's dependence on Blaine, why he actually went the opposite route from his co-star and dyed his blonde locks darker for his undead part, the ever-devloping Liz/Lowell dynamic -- and his desire for Lowell to lose control.
CBR News: When you initially received the breakdown for the role of Lowell, what elements of the character did you gravitate towards?
Bradley James: Playfulness. Lowell is a playful, cheeky man. As an actor, that was terrific to get hold of and have fun with.
What makes Lowell a better match for Liv than Major (Robert Buckley)?
That's a question, maybe, for the audience. Who is to say he is? The way it is set up, I think the audience is expecting a Liv/Major endgame situation. That may be very well the way it goes. Like all relationships, you find yourself in that early, wonderful stage where you're exploring that aspect of if you like each other. That's what Liv and Lowell are going through right now, that discovery of each other. We'll see if it works out or not.
What have you most enjoyed about the Liv/Lowell romance?
As I touched on before, it's the playfulness. They are both very comfortable around each other. Neither of them thought this was going to be a possibility at one stage. They've both been able to explore that aspect of their lives they thought had been taken away. There's fun they are both experiencing.
Your fans may not have immediately recognized you when you appeared on the show. Were you told up front you'd be dying your hair?
I turned up the same week as a man called Ryan Hansen. We both had blonde hair, but they only had Ryan for a week in between a shoot he was doing. They didn't want two blonde-haired guys who were relatively similar looking, or I dare say, better looking than me. They decided to dye the hair of one of us. Because they only had Ryan for a week, it couldn't be him, so I found myself on the receiving end of some hair dye. As I talk to you now, my hair has yet to turn back. Since August last year, my hair has been brown.
When zombies eat brains, they inherit the talent, traits and the memories of the deceased. What was it like when Lowell developed an attraction to men and busted out some dance moves?
I dare say, for the dance moves, I made a joke earlier that we didn't know the cameras were rolling. One of the things I enjoyed most about my scenes was working with Rose. She's terrific and very generous as an actress. It makes it all the more fun because you are working with someone who facilitates great moments like that.
In the last episode, Liv discovers Lowell is on Blaine's meal plan. How will that impact their relationship?
I suppose what I can mention on that is the obvious. There's bound to be some confrontation there. I would, however, hope the audience is aware of the exceptionally privileged position that Liv finds herself in. It's all very well, being high-and-mighty when you have a constant source of nourishment coming in through the work place. For everyone else, it's not that easy. I hope the audience is aware of that.
Blaine doesn't help others out of the goodness of his heart. What does he require from Lowell?
I feel like that may dance with what happens in the show. I'm not the man to spill the beans on that one. There is an introduction to the Blaine/Lowell relationship which we'll see more of.
Viewers haven't yet witnessed Lowell zombie-out. Is that something you're looking forward to?
The first instance of "Bradley James' zombie-out experience" was my first episode. We're in a plane and we're shooting a flashback scene. I spoke to Rose about her experiences of what it was and the physical attributes of something like that. I was like, "Okay. Ready to go." When the moment comes, we get in the plane to shoot the scene. It starts, and just as I'm about to kick into zombie-mode, someone yells, "Cut!" I was robbed of my first attempt to go into zombie mode! It was unfulfilling, in that regard. My hope is there is another opportunity. A Lowell zombie-mode would be very exciting.
A full zombie showdown between Liv, Blaine and Lowell seems inevitable.
That sounds like a reality show to me. That might be worth a pitch!
