- Showrunner de "Krypton" habla de un posible cameo de 'Green Lantern':

"Krypton" es la última serie del mundo de los cómics. Con tan sólo un episodio, ya han surgido muchos rumores que apuntan a qué otros superhéroes del Universo DC habrían existido en torno al momento en el que la serie tiene lugar.

Aunque ya nos han presentado a 'Adam Strange', uno de los nombres que se han estado escuchando para la serie es 'Green Lantern'. Dado que los oficiales elegidos por los Guardianes del Universo han estado presentes desde el nacimiento del mismo tiempo, encajaría bien que un Lantern apareciera en la serie y parece que esto no es tan sólo un deseo de los fans, ya que el showrunner Cameron Welsh sdijo que el tener a Green Lanterns es “algo que sería un encaje natural para nosotros”.

Esto parece encajar también con lo que dijo el productor ejecutivo David S. Goyer durante la Television Critics Association’s winter press tour en Enero:

“El trato con la serie es algo así como esta entrada en el universo de ciencia ficción de DC. Porque también la Zona Fantasma figura en esta serie, eso significa que podemos ahondar en otros tiempos y planetas en algún momento.”

Esto fue repetido por el presidente de DC Entertainment Geoff Johns, diciendo:

“Cualquiera de estos personajes podría aparecer eventualmente”

Con el potencial de que "Krypton" sea una serie que explora los primeros años del Universo DC y establece las reglas de base para los futuros spin-offs, las posibilidades parecen casi infinitas en cuanto a qué personaje o qué planeta puede usar la serie como lanzadera para cosas más importantes. Hay esperanza con que un cohesivo Cosmicverso DC en la pequeña pantalla pueda explorar avenidas que las películas no han sido capaces de hacerlo.


La serie está protagonizada por Cameron Cuffe como Seg-El, Georgina Campbell como Lyta Zod, Ian McElhinney como Val-El, Elliot Cowan como Daron Vex, Ann Ogbomo como Alura Zod, Rasmus Hardiker como Kem, Wallis Day como Nyssa Vex, Aaron Pierre como Dev-Em, Paula Malcolmson como Charys-El, y Blake Ritson como Brainiac.

"Krypton" se emite los Miércoles por la noche a las 10 pm E.T. en SyFy.
