"I spent some vacation time in L.A., and was about to look for a parking spot in Hollywood on June 21st, 2012, around 4.30 p.m., when I all of a sudden spotted Tom paying for his parking. Our natural attraction must have brought us together as it should be.

As you see he was dressed rather formally, and indeed he went into a building that turned out to be full of agencies and production companies. When he returned after about half an hour with gigantic strides (!), he had some papers rolled up in the back pocket of his pants. (Can I be that paper? ) What could be so important that it cannot be sent by email but only be picked up in person?

Of course I do not know what he did in that building, but both his formal attire and the location indicate that this could have been a business meeting. So it seems that in between all this golfing etc., he does keep in touch with the film industry. Which renews my hope that we will see him again on some screen sooner or later. "

"Como todos sabéis he estado coleccionando autógrafos desde hace tiempo (siendo John Wayne mi primera persona) así es que muy poco me hace emocionarme en este hobby ya. Pero recientemente tuve un encuentro con un famoso para morirse. Además de mi amor por el Doctor Who he sido un fan de Supermán desde siempre y también he sido fan de las muchas encarnaciones del Hombre de Acero tanto en las películas como en TV. Smallville fue una serie única. En todos los años desde que la serie ha estado en antena nunca me encontré con Tom Welling y Allison Mack de los regulares de la serie. He oído historias de "terror" sobre Tom de que él no es agradable y de que odia a Hollywood/LA por los muchos vendedores que hay.

Recientemente en un torneo de golf de famosos en las Vegas el pasado mes de Marzo tuve el claro placer de encontrarme con Tom Welling. No tenía ni idea de que iba a estar ahí. Afortunadamente, la persona a la que estaba ayudando tenía una impresora y su portátil en el coche. Así es que pude sacar un par de fotos e imprimirlas en el último minuto. ¡Para tener el autógrafo de Tom! Fue un día increíble. Él era el único actor que interpretó a Supermán que necesitaba para completar mi colección. Sí, tengo el de George y Christopher Reeve. Tom fue taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan agradable.

De hecho conversamos un poco en el campo de prácticas y realmente parecía interesado en lo que estaba diciendo. Fue divertido cuando le dije de dónde era y mencioné Hollywood y me dijo lo mucho que odiaba el área con todos los vendedores/gente de ebay y paparazzis. Así es que ya véis, aunque la gente piense que algunos famosos no son agradables con los fans puede ser por la ciudad o el lugar en donde el encuentro tenga lugar. Mientras que Tom odia Hollywood/LA su actitud hacia los fans puede ser completamente diferente en otro lugar".

El primer día (20/07/12) Tom estuvo en el grupo 6, compartiendo juego en la primera ronda con Dennis Haysbert y Javier Colon, terminando con una puntuación de -8.
El segundo día (21/07/12) Tom participa en el grupo 18, compartiendo juego en la segunda ronda con Jamie Moyer y Ryan Fitzpatrick, terminando con una puntuación de -6.
El segundo día (22/07/12) Tom participa en el grupo 16, compartiendo juego en la segunda ronda con Ryan Fitzpatrick y Brandi Chastain, terminando con una puntuación de -9.
La puntuación total en el torneo fue de -14.
