HELLCATS is a coming-of-age drama about a you pre-law student (Aly Michalka, “Bandslam”) whose world is turned upside-down when she loses her scholarship and has to join the college’s competitive cheerleading squad. This fun, energetic series is a behind-the-scenes look at the drama, politics and pressure surrounding the high school football program at a Southern university. HELLCATS is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Tom Welling Productions, Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios with executive producers Kevin Murphy (“Desperate Housewives”), Tom Welling (“Smallville”) and Allan Arkush (“Heroes”). The pilot was directed by Allan Arkush. Co-starring are: Ashley Tisdale (“High School Musical”), Heather Hemmens (“CSI: Miami”), Robbie Jones (“One Tree Hill“), Matt Barr (“Harper’s Island”), Sharon Leal (“Private Practice”) and Gail O’Grady (“NYPD Blue”)
pero me alegro que sus proyectos fuera de la serie vayan bien, se lo merece por ser tan buen profesional 
eso es lo que me temo, en los ultimos capis de la 9º salió menos (sacrifice) segun dicen xq se estuvo encargando del piloto de esa serie y si la han cogido y esta como productor forget us q en la 10 se centren por fin de una puñetera vez en clark si tom no puede dedicarle full time a la serieShelby escribió:Bueno, pues espero que para nosotros no sea una mala noticia, pero...

After upstaging the fashion royalty at the Costume Institute gala, Katy Perry (above) will headline the CW's upfronts at Madison Square Garden tomorrow. The gorgeous singer will perform her new single, "California Gurls," which has been selected as the network's official theme song for the summer. Also expected: "Gossip Girl" boy Chace Crawford, "Vampire Diaries" stars Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley and Nina Dobrev, "90210" beauty AnnaLynne McCord and "Superman" star Tom Welling.

Estos últimos dias me extraña ver tantas imágenes de Tom en actos promocionales porque normalmente suele quedarse en casita, que no le gustan estas cosas. Bueno pero para nosotras mejor, disfrutaremos viendo nuevas fotos de él que siempre está bien!!!

GREGORY NOVECK: Not happening, if for no other reason than it would just confuse the issue.
VOICES FROM KRYPTON: And if that’s the case, I wonder why they wouldn’t just use Brandon Routh again.
GREGORY NOVECK: I think part of it is that the character is larger than the actor. If you look at Batman, Superman and Justice League as separate franchises, if all of a sudden you have Brandon in it but you don’t have Christian, then what movie is it? I think you have to have it stand on its own. I’m just speculating, but if I’m the director of this movie, I don’t want to have to be too careful of another director’s iteration of a character. If I use his actor, then I’m kind of beholden to it. What if George Miller hired Brandon and Christian, but he wanted Brandon to really play Superman tougher and wanted Christian to show more humanity, then all of a sudden you’re entering very strange creative territory. The same is true of using Tom Welling. I think ultimately it’s a better movie if you have different actors to keep the iterations of the characters distinct. The example I’ve been using is, is it the Mike Mignolia Batman versus the Frank Miller Batman? It’s still Batman, they’re just different versions of it. I think when we start to open up the films with that kind of lens, where you can say, “These are all Superman, but they’re different versions” – even from Tom Welling to Brandon Routh, right? – that’s pretty cool.
VOICES FROM KRYPTON: I guess Smallville fans imagined the show would end and that cast would make the leap to the big screen and Tom would become Superman. But then you get Brandon Routh on the big screen, so you make that separation. But now we have to accept a second movie version in Justice League…
GREGORY NOVECK: I don’t really see it as a conflict. And it’s better for the actors, frankly. If there are a couple of guys playing Batman or Superman, at least those guys don’t get pigeon-holed for the rest of their careers.
